Dear IFSCC Members & friends,
I just want to say a few words at the beginning of the new IFSCC Praesidium. In 2020, we have all gone through so many huge changes, and it really feels like we are standing in front of a big mess. This year has given us all many opportunities to reflect and question our humanity, lives, the meaning of life and what is truly important to us.
Obviously, we do not live alone and cannot survive without helping each other in these difficult times. That’s why I set our guiding principle for the 2020-2021 IFSCC Praesidium as ‘Unite’. I strongly believe that respect, trust and mutual appreciation are the basis of good relationships. The success of the IFSCC Virtual Congress proved that we can work together and help each other in this tough situation, even though we were physically separated around the world, so I am quite optimistic that we can achieve our target with this wonderfully united team.
