We would like to cordially welcome you to the website of the 20th International Congress on In Vitro Toxicology (ESTIV2018) on behalf of the European Society of Toxicology In Vitro (ESTIV), the German Toxicology Society (GT) and the Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing-Europe (CAAT-Europe). On this website, you will find all information necessary to attend the Congress that will take place 15-18 October 2018 in Berlin-Germany.
The general theme of the Congress is “New approach methodologies for in vitro toxicology applications”. This slogan is fully reflected in the 8 thematic sessions to which you can submit abstracts for oral or poster presentation. Abstract authors will be invited to prepare an original research manuscript or review paper to be taken into consideration for the ESTIV2018 proceedings that will be published in the journal Toxicology In Vitro.
The Congress program also consists of a number of special sessions, including a continuous poster session, 2 student sessions, 2 European project sessions and 2 lunch sessions. The Congress will be preceded by 2 complimentary workshops and will be followed by a hands-on workshop.
In order to promote the participation of youngsters, a total of 8 student travel bursaries are provided. In addition, young participants can sign up for 4 best poster presentation awards and 1 best oral presentation award.
The Congress equally foresees ample opportunities for networking, including a social diner. The vibrant city of Berlin offers the ideal setting for socializing with your colleagues while enjoying the exciting scientific program.
