The European retailer of prestige fragrances and beauty products has partnered with digital brand experience creator Revieve to develop a digital sun care advisor for its customers in Italy. Dubbed “AI Suncare Advisor”, the tool has been designed to provide consumers a hyper-personalized brand experience that helps them discover the most suitable sun care routine based on their skin, their environment, and their lifestyle preferences.

Going beyond preconceived ideas

Suncare products have historically had a bad reputation. Most people think they are sticky, messy, and only suited to one skin type. That reputation plus lack of sun prevention education makes some people shy away from sun protection,” says Sampo Parkkinen, CEO of Revieve. “At the same time, consumers are more than ever vocal about their concerns for proper sun care and the need for personalized options to protect their skin from the harmful effects of sun exposure.
